Young Innovative Business Award

This award aims to reward and celebrate young businesses that have demonstrated creativity and entrepreneurial flair in the launch and early growth of a business. Success must be based on innovative products, processes or services, that have a track record of early commercial success, and have potential for further growth and expansion in turnover, profits and employees.

Eligibility criteria:

1. The business must have been trading for less than three years.
2. It must be able to provide evidence of commercial success derived from their innovative product, process or service, in the form of sales turnover in at least one year of its operation.
3. Businesses with concepts, ideas or prototypes which have not yet been launched commercially, or which are not yet generating sales, will not be eligible.
4. Innovations must be new, evolved or significantly improved products, processes, services or business models that are ground-breaking in their sector, industry or market.
